The Phocus Agency, in collaboration with Rototom Sunsplash, will double the photo workshop offer after the success of the 2011 edition in the 18th Sunsplash! During the 2012 Sunsplash there will be two courses, one at basic (beginners) level and one at advanced level.

Those workshops are open to everyone who loves photography and reggae culture. The beginners course will be from august 16th to 18th, the advanced one from 20th to 22nd, in the Festival area, located in Benicàssim (Spain).

The participants will attend theoretical classes about the important technical and aesthetical notions, basics in event and reportage photography, metadata, the optimal workflow and the relation with agencies such as advanced and quick postprocessing.

The students will have to accomplish photo works and the best images of everyone will be updated in a dedicated gallery inside the official Rototom website. The two best students of the base workshop will have the opportunity to participate for free to the advanced course, the best two of the advanced one will work inside the official 2013 Sunsplash photo crew, as volunteers.
