The weather in the morning seemed to be playing a bad joke on us as wind and rain lashed down, but this didn't dampen the energy of Rototom Sunsplash and we didn't lose our spirit. Meeting my friends from the audio service a number of times in the Show Case Area, we hoped that the weather would stop its crazy games, but unfortunately it proved to be deaf to our requests. The afternoon concerts entitled “Bizzarri Records Showcase” foresaw a programme that was as full as it was interesting, starting with Lion D and then Ras Tewelde straight after, both accompanied by the Livity band.

Livity Band & Lion D, already great finalists at the Italian selection for the reggae contest, were hotly awaited by the Sunsplash crowd. Let's hope that they can be reinserted before the end of the Festival.

The Showcase Area programme should have finished with Magadog, a young ska, reggae and soul band. However, even though hope never faded, the afternoon had to give way to a postponed appointment in the evening, in the Bizzarri DJ set, where it was possible to promote the Cd, “Reggae Girls”, created by Rastasnob and directed by Bizzarri Records.

In the evening, “Onesty” certainly stood out, a Belgian artist who arrived at Sunsplash with the Freddy Mc Gregor crew. The evening then concluded with the performance of the best of the Bizzarri DJ set, accompanied by Lion D & Ras Tewelde, who animated and encouraged the people who had stopped to listen to some good music to dance, but were then forced to seek shelter in the tent next door due to the downpour that had started up again after a short break in the rain.
