Rototom Sunsplash

You are here: Rototom El éxodo Neil Perch

Neil Perch

neil-perchHi everyone. I am currently on tour and for this reason I cannot send you a video message. I am very sorry, because I would have been very happy to be there at least on video.

I write to you to express my total support. Throughout the years Rototom Sunsplash has always been an important focus for Jamaican and European reggae. Zion Train has often had the pleasure to be there with you: I will never forget the sneak preview of our album “Live as one” and all the guests. We ended up winning a Jamaican Grammy for that CD.
I still treasure the memory of celebrating my 40th birthday in Osoppo with my Abassi High Power Sound.
Someone is trying to force Rototom out of Friuli and this is just too bad, because I think in a way this location belongs to the festival, and the festival, on the other hand, belongs to Friuli. I wish the festival could stay where it was conceived, but in any case the most important thing is that the mood towards the audience shall not be lost in the relocation and that the festival shall keep its message of peace and unity.
In hope that you do not give up on this battle for musical, political and spiritual freedom I hug you all: see you at the next Rototom Sunsplash!
