Rototom provides a rare and very special opportunity for people from all over Europe, the Caribbean and Africa to come together to enjoy and exchange their cultural differences and commonalities in an environment that is relaxed and easy going, as well as well organised and safe. The combination of music and presentation allows for learning and intellectual discovery in a festive and happy setting. I could not think of a more successful example of inter cultural dialogue and am astonished that the authorities are deliberating on whether it should be closed down.
