Italy, you are too funny! The world is already laughing at your President for his sexual escapades and drug abuse. Rather than turning your back on an obviously corrupt politician, a majority of your people seem to love him even more. You then have the audacity to fight one of the most peaceful institutions that dedicated individuals have ever come up with: the Rototom Sunsplash, where thousands of music lovers prove for ten days that a life in peace and unity is not only a utopia, but actually possible.

We want to express our solidarity with Filippo Giunta and the whole festival crew; we have been part of the Rototom Sunsplash experience for the past three years by helping with the Reggae University. You don't have to know the Italian legal system to understand that the accusations made against the festival and its organizer are unjust and ridiculous. In fact, it's the Rototom Sunsplash, that has put the region of Friuli on the map as a tolerant and open place, but this reputation will soon be a thing of the past if you continue with your actions against the festival. As Bob Marley said, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. So please Italy, don't make a fool out of yourself!
