A PROJECT COORDINATED BY ”F.A.R.I.” (FDERATION OF ASSEMBLIES OF  RASTAFARI IN ITALY).  “EXODUS-ETHIOPIAN CULTURAL SERVICE” ASSOCIATION

The House of Rastafari, reaching its eight consecutive year of presence within the Rototom Sunsplash, is the place entitled for Rototom’s people to find answers to their questions concerning Rastafari Faith, through a wide cultural programme :

• NYABINGHI CHANTS: Drumming and chants of Praises from the Rastafari bredrens and sistrens.
• SEMINARS: These constitute a guided path along the main themes of Rastafari Faith.
• LIBRARY: A collection of literary works about the Rastafari Faith and Ethiopia mainly made up of original Ethiopian works, which can be freely read inside the House of Rastafari. Someone in-charge will be glad to offer explanations and further bibliographic references.
• ART EXHIBITION: Personal exhibition of the Italian Rastafari artist Ras Dedo RastArtmanTRIBUTE TO BOB MARLEY:SO MUCH THINGS TO SAY…
• PHOTO EXHIBITION: ETHIOPIA AND ETHIOPIANS . A nice collection of photos between 2010 and 2011 all over Ethiopia from the North to the South, showing this land’s great marvels and great people.

Few shoots to describe the landscape, the scene and the life in the oldest country of the World, guardian of millenarian tradition and ancient way of life of perfect harmony with Nature and fellow men.

•  CRAFTSMANSHIP: Nearby the structure there will be stalls with Ethiopian and Rastafari handicrafts, and the promotional gazebo of our Associations, F.A.R.I and Exodus-E.C.S..

• AID TO ETHIOPIA: This year also we are happy to collaborate with the Ethiopian Association established by our Ethiopian brethren living in Spain, Ras Araya, of the Araya Charity Association (ASOCIACION CULTURAL ABISINIOS PARA LA COOPERACION), which is based both in Bahar Dahar, Ethiopia, and in Madrid, Spain, which builded a school for the social integration of physically and mentally challenged youths. A gazebo from the same association will be located outside the House of Rastafari, where also Ciamaki (traditional Ethiopian fruit juices) will be prepared and offered to the visitors.
