Human and social commitment accompanied Rototom since the beginning. This event, not only musical has become over the years an authentic "cultural laboratory", able to care about to care about the deep worldwide movements connected to civil rights, peace culture, anti-racism and sustainability; and to collect this "thirst to knowledge" and ideas which came out with the youth who gathered at the debates tent. This place for thoughts and activism needs now more strenght, while Europe is facing intense change, with big economic and social crisis; the loss of social rights and state sovereignty; mass migrations which tent to spread hatred and xenophoby.










A series of meetings to discuss important moments in the history of reggae music, together with journalists, writers, Dee jays and artists. A real forum on the past, present and future of reggae music, analysing the influence and evolution of this music style, as well as its social, political and spiritual impact.
