Rototom Sunsplash was born and grew up in Italy, but has to go away due to a more and more repressive, closed, and suffocating climate. What's happening to "Belpaese"? How is it that in front of a civil society which appears surrended, with no voice free places becoming more and more restricted?

The Italian crisis is watched with anxiety by the rest of Europe and people are afraid "Berlusconization" will spread out into the continent. We will be discussing this on Wednesday 25th August in a debate entitled "The Italian case and Europe's Berlusconization" with special guests including Beppe Grillo, Giuliano Giuliani, Andrea De Lotto de Lo Sbarco and Modera Tommaso Cerno from Espresso.
