As you all know by now, Sunsplash will, for the first time this year, be hosted in Spain, a fascinating and complex land, rich in history and culture with great international propensity. To assist us in this new and exciting journey we will have with us two exceptional companions: Ramon Chao, the great writer and journalist for Le Monde and Le Monde Diplomatique, formerly exiled by the Anti-Franco front, proud opponent of globalisation (and father of Manu Chao).
Antonio Escohotado the well known Spanish intellectual and philosopher who links his research into the critique of prohibition, which has throughout Europe become an obligatory reference point for all those who never give up on the madness of the "war on drugs". With them we inaugurate at Sunsplash, in a double appointment, in the shape of the "public": interviews to be conducted by Cristina Artoni on Friday 27th and by Jorge Escohotado on Saturday 24th when we will delve into these direct and informal meetings exploring their ideas, experiences, life's struggles.
