Ska sounds at the Lion Stage

In this edition of the festival, the bands programmed to participate in the Ska Club, of Jamaican oldies styles (ska, rocksteady, early reggae) selected by Liquidator Music label, will move to the Lion Stage, leaving the Ska Club to the sessions of the selectors and sound systems from various parts of the world (Japan, UK, France), ocasionally accompanied by top-level singers.

Amongst the bands to perform at this stage (Lion Stage), The Upsttemians from Madrid will be appearing again (27th August) as well as Contratempo from Castellón (18th August) – which played as backing band in Roy Ellis’ show in 2010 -. Moreover, the soulful reggae band from Madrid, Tasty Grooves will be also playing (26th August), presenting its recent 7”, recorded together with Ken Boothe and the German saxophonist Tommy Tornado (23rd August), who will play with The Golden Singles Band from Valencia.
