DUB STATION The foundation Bush Chemists by Dougie Wardrop and Culture Freeman goes back to 1989: just the year before Dougie opened his CD store at Camden Town's market, naming it "The Dub Shack". The next step was the production of dub music and the creation of the indipendent record label Conscious Sound, through which he soon launches the first great 10" with the name of Bush Chemists.
The music of the label has then been then spread by the numerous compilation of UK Dub released by the American label Roir even if for the Conscious Sound the main aim was to launch vinyl singles as the very good "Dub outernational" and "Raw raw dub". Through the years the crew of the Sound got bigger with Jonah Dan, Chazbo and Kenny Knots. As the controls as it used to be, the foundator Dougie Wardrop remains and at the festival there will also be the singer Culture Freeman.
