What Aba Shanti and Jah Shaka have in common is the wake of Legend and being a "one man sound", that means to totally control the console on his own, spreading an extraordinary flow of vibrations. His apprenticeship has been on the mic of the jah Tubbys Sound, with the name of Jasmin Joe, but after the spiritual immersion in the mystic Rasta Aba he starts on his own with a very powerful sound which fabulously gives start to the big Carribean carnaval in London in 1990.
This magnificent selector also becomes producer through the activity oh his Falasha Recordings, helped by Shanti Ites, the band formed of his brothers Blood , Samari and Humble Lion. With Aba Shanti the festival is enriched with another name of extraordinary importance in the history of dub.
