Surely anywhere you have been, it must have happened to you to meet some waders, clowns, jugglers. They are the artists of the Rototom Circus, here at Sunsplash for the whole duration of the Festiva. We meet Lucia Klocker inside the Rototom Circus. "Our group of artists - states Lucia - was born in 2006 in Argentina. Three were the founders, two Argentinians and me, Spanish, I live in Valencia. There are 25 artists present here, who entertain the public every moment of the day.
Our work is itinerant, we are also on the beach. Clowns perform anywhere in order to get the people to know our activities, in the night they make fire shows, very striking. Other artists held juggling lessons to whoever would like to commit themselves into these perfomances. Trampoline courses, tightrope balancing, ball juggling. At 7.30 in the night we make a real Cabaret show for our friends of the Festival. Every day more than 150 people attend our perfomances. It's not just entertainment that characterizes. Our work has got a particular social function of meeting between the poeple, the Rototom Circus in an instrument that allowes the cultural exchange between all the ethnic groups attending the Festival. This particularity leads in all of the Sunsplash activities".
