Il lavoro dei disegnatori della rivista El Jueves al Rototom

el-jueves-rototomVari disegnatori del famoso settimanale satirico El Jueves hanno partecipato oggi a un dibattito, moderato dal giornalista e scrittore Pepe Colubi, al Rototom. Rubén Fernandez (Frederik Freak), Lalo Kubala (Palmiro Capón), Jardi e Ariño (Pablo Arkada) e Pedro Vera (Ortega y Pacheco) hanno raccontato brevemente ai partecipanti al dibattito com'è iniziato il loro rapporto con la rivista e in che cosa consiste il loro lavoro.

Gli autori si sono anche riferiti alle più note polemiche in cui si sono visti coinvolti a causa delle loro pubblicazioni, come per esempio quella relativa famosa copertina che hanno dedicato ai Principi di Asturia. A questo proposito, hanno indicato che la censura non è sempre causata da pressioni esterne, ma che hanno origine a volte all'interno della propria impresa o, anche, dalla stessa mano del disegnatore. Hanno inoltre ammesso che ricevono abbastanza lettere da lettori, a volte arrabbiati o indignati, mentre altre volte contenti e riconoscenti per il loro lavoro settimanale.

Alla fine, ogni disegnatore ha spiegato come crea le proprie strisce, pagine o vignette.

Durante la notte, si è celebrato El Jueves Party, durante il quale Pepe Colubi ha mixato dub, reggae e lovers, mentre i disegnatori di El Jueves si dimostravano disponibili a dialogare, e perfino a disegnare su richiesta del pubblico.
