Meanwhile the "Marley fiesta" during which Ziggy, Rita and Ky-mani Marley performed in-front of the huge crowed, we were screening a very special movie. "Jamaica Mon Amour" is taking us back to the roots of reggae music. The movie is shot in Jamaica and the audience is able to see the very places where Bob Marley turned his talent in to history. Tuff Gong - the studio where Bob recorded some of his biggest hits is also included in this documentary. The journey goes through many small record shops where music is still printed to vinyl and we also see the big music production studios. Why do I say it is special it is because the movie was filmed for the celebration of Rototom's 15th anniversary and was made out of pure love towards Reggae Culture. Apart from everything connected to music the movie shows the contradictions of this country. It shows us the problems of the normal people and of course their joys. If you want to see Jamaica from another point of view, have no doubt that this movie is for you. Stay tuned as we got more to come!
