The programmers of the various stages have been working hard to close deals with artists who will be bringing their vibrations during the eight days of the Festival. Three days from its unvailing, the people who are bring you the Lion Stage have three new confirmations for its line-up to announce.

Lion Stage: Ladies Night
Thursday 26th. of August is the date chosen by the Lion Stage Programmers (the Rototom stage which don't forgett is powered entirely by solar energy thanks to the agreement reached with the Italian company Ecoluce) entirely dedicated to the ladies, a date clearly pointing toward multiculturalism with artists coming from countries such as Chile, Sweden, Jamaica and Spain...
Lion Stage: Candydread & Ras Soldier, Kuami Mensah, Sun Sooley, Roe Delgado, Tostones
Here's another set of artists confirmed for the Lion STAGE: originally from Caracas (Venezuela) the selecter Candydread has resided in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for years. He will be ccompanied by Ras Soldier (also from Las Palmas) and his riddims scheduled for Saturday 21st August. Kuami Mensah originates from Benin but resides in Valencia where along with his Afro Latin Band makes an interesting blend of reggae, Latin and afro rhythms: There concert is scheduled for Sunday 22nd August.
Lion Stage: Gregory G. Ras, Leslie2Long, Peter 'Skapeti', Jr. Brown, Pub Animals
The Lion Stage will be also hosting some Easter European reggae scene, which quality was well marked at the last European Reggae Contest editions: Gregory G. Ras is the lead singer of Riddim Colony, the main Hungarian reggae band, Even though he's already got two solo Cds.
Lion Stage: Bingui Jaa Jammy, Dar-k, Herbalist Crew
We are presenting some interesting groups from a variety of origins, French speaking groups will be in action on the Lion Stage on Thursday 26th August: Bingui Jaa Jammy, from the French provincial area in Congo and the Ivory Coast.
